Raveolution is a personal project exploring music and politics.

The first Issue explores how underground club scene communities have a voice in society and politics. From Chicago to Detroit and then UK, acid house was not only a music genre, it was also a youth movement across the globe. The parties in warehouses soon became a voice of protest and a political act, shaping culture and society until today. This Issue was printed in riso, one color.

The second Issue is called message. The music genre that influenced the second issue is hip hop / spoken word. In this genre, some artists use the power of lyrics to expose social and political issues. Kojey Radical and Kate Tempest give us a glimpse of their process. And then passing through Brazil and Lebanon, we see how techno is still empowering people. At this time, I also designed and developed a website for the project.

This is a preview of the project. The whole project can be found here.
